Isis performs the National Anthem for professional sports teams like the Houston Rockets and the Houston Astros. Little Body,” Kristen has been singing almost her whole life. She had her first concert at the age of 3. Her voice has been heard from the east coast to the west coast, in England, Japan, and
Jamaica. She has sung in small country churches and at Carnegie Hall. She has shared the stage with some the music industry’s best, and was a Top 20 Finalist on Season 7 of BET’s Sunday Best
(2014).

Regina Skeeters

Regina Skeeters, a native of Conway, SC is a singer, songwriter, actress, educator, worship leader and motivational speaker. She is a graduate of Benedict College. Ms. Skeeters is the founder of a non-profit organization and performing arts camp entitled Blend Out which encourages people ages 5-25 to be their best selves. Regina has also had the opportunity share the stage with artists many well-known artists. She has been graced with the privilege of being featured in Ebony Magazine as Miss Benedict College. She has had the opportunity to travel
world -wide relaying the message of Jesus Christ. Her goal is to simply be a walking billboard and to change the world one life at a time.

Kira Adkins

Dedicated, responsible, intelligent and fun-loving describes Kira Adkins! Kira is currently a pharmacy student at the Medical University of South Carolina, who just recently graduated
Academic Magnet High School in June 2018. At the age of 16, Kira made history as the youngest student ever accepted into this 4-year graduate program at MUSC. God-willing, she
will have her PharmD degree at age 21 and will have the title Dr. Adkins! She was very active in high school and even served as the captain of the girls varsity basketball team during her last
year of high school. For her whole life, Kira has remained involved at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, going out with friends, and inspiring others to pursue their dreams as well.

Jackie Brewton

Jackie Brewton has a heart for young people and walked away from a successful career in Corporate America sixteen years ago to dedicate her life to helping teens make good choices.
She is a graduate of Furman University and the Founder and CEO of MotivationN3D, a motivational speaking company. Jackie travels around the country and abroad empowering
teens to dream bigger dreams, make better decisions and walk into their destinies. Recognizing the need to bridge the communication gap between parents and teens, Jackie also equips and empowers mothers to have the tough conversations with their teen daughters about sex, love
and relationships through her blog, parent guides and workshops.

Ocielia Gibson is Founder and Spokesperson of More Than a Pretty Face Inc., a faith-based movement that empowers girls to develop purposeful beauty that changes the world. In 2011, she became the first woman from the state of Texas to capture the national crown of Miss Black USA. She is currently completing her Masters in Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. 

Megan Gordon

Megan A. Gordon, native of North Augusta, South Carolina, is a lover of traveling, meeting new people and inspiring young women to unveil their identity through Christ! While in Nursing school, she earned the title of Miss South Carolina USA and later went on to place Top 5 at the nationally televised Miss USA competition! One year after her Miss USA experience, she released her first self-published book entitled, The Ultimate Crown: Living for the Audience of One. Megan is now a Cardiac nurse, a signed model and an author. She credits all of her accomplishments to God and says nothing would be possible without Him!

Lateca McClary

Lateca McClary, a graduate of the University of South Carolina, has addressed state legislators
and school boards advocating for the abstinence outside of marriage approach for adolescents. She has also been graced with the opportunity to speak to youth, teachers, and parents on topics such as self -worth, healthy relationships, and developing strong character.  Her heart is to see people, young and old, enlightened and made free by the truth of God’s Word.  Lateca and her husband Eric reside in the Charleston area with their four children.

Carsyn Smith

Carsyn Ashleigh Smith is 13 years old and is a 8th grader at the Charleston County School of the Arts where she is a Theatre major. Carsyn loves the stage and has been acting since she was in 4th grade. She was cast in the lead role of Annie in her 5th grade play. She has performed with the Storytree Theatre and has been featured in numerous performances at the School of the Arts and with Playwrite Sarena James.
When Carsyn is not on stage, she is performing with her competitive dance troop, playing the piano, serving the community by volunteering with the March of Dimes,
Hands of Christ, and STYLZE Prgram, and hanging out with her friends.

Jordyn Stinson

Jordyn Stinson is a 10th grader at Hanahan High School. She is a bright and energetic young lady who enjoys cooking in her spare time. Jordyn future plans is to attend North Carolina A & T “Aggie Pride” majoring in PreMed.

Debbie Counts

Debbie Counts has worked at the College of Charleston (CofC) since the fall of 2007. Debbie loves working for admissions at the College of Charleston where she shares best practices related to the admissions process and encourages students to pursue and explore higher education opportunities. Under her direction, student of color enrollment has increased, and students and their families are visiting the college more frequently. She has been married to George Counts for over 28 years. They are the proud parents of two children; Miles a senior at Harvard University, majoring in History and Literature, and
daughter Zoe, a senior at the Charleston County School of the Arts. Debbie believes that “greatness is not measured by what man or woman accomplishes, but by the opposition he or she has overcome to reach his/her goals” ~Dorothy Height~

Monejah Black

Monejah Black, a Pinckney Scholar recipient, is a junior mass communication major at Winthrop University. She is from Charleston, SC, where she also serves at Charleston Air Force Base with the United States Air Force Reserve. Monejah aspires to be a television producer or sports broadcaster after completing her education.

Janya Ashby

Janya Ashby is the daughter of Lakeshia Abraham and Jeffery Ashby. She is a sophomore at Richland Northeast High School in Columbia, SC. During her spare time she enjoys reading, creating liturgical dance, shopping and helping others that are in need. Her plan after high school is to attend UCLA in
California to become an OBGYN. Her philosophies in life are “Only you can stop you” and “With God all things are possible.”

Antina Fields is retired Technical Sergeant from the United States Air Force, and now her passion leads her to work with children with autism and disabilities in Dorchester School District Two. She is the proud mother of two children. In her spare time she enjoys quality time with her children and learning recipes from her mother, Roslin Fields. Antina overcame many obstacles in her life which helped to shape her jovial personality which makes people happy and joyful. She has learned to love life and to love God.

Ricsha Kinard

Ricsha Edgar-Kinard is a 1999 graduate of Charleston Southern University and a former “Miss Charleston” (1996), “Miss North Charleston” (1997), and “Miss Charleston Southern University”
(1999). She has been a requested speaker at youth and women’s events, as well as in churches across the Southeast and into the Midwest. She is a singer and musician, and is actively involved in her home church, Cathedral of Praise, in North Charleston, SC. Ricsha is a full-time teacher at Cathedral
Academy. She has a passion to see the next generation of leaders, especially girls, rise up and be the difference in their homes, schools, communities, and their worlds. Ricsha has been married to David for 18 years, and together they have three children who are their pride and joy.

Heather Merritt & Steps Ahead Dancers from Ft. Dorchester High School

Heather Merritt grew up in Atlanta, GA where she began dancing at the Atlanta School of Ballet. At the age of thirteen Heather was chosen to be a company dancer with the Atlanta Ballet II. Her area of expertise covers a vast array of dance genres. In 2007, Heather returned to Charleston to continue her teaching career. She has since taught independently across the greater Charleston area. In addition to her teaching credits, Mrs. Merritt is a certified South Carolina educator and is currently on faculty as the dance teacher at Fort Dorchester High School. In 2012, Mrs. Merritt opened her own studio, Steps Ahead Dance, where she is dedicated to bringing her experience, expertise, and love for dance to the future
dancers of the Charleston community.

Nina Nesbitt

Nina Nesbitt is the owner and operator of Industry Direct. She specializes in building self-esteem and confidence in youth, through modeling and acting techniques. The participants enjoy the process of modeling and acting, while learning life skills that last a lifetime! Before stepping into corporate America as a Recruitment Specialist for some of the leading proprietary colleges in the country, Ms. Nesbitt traveled to Paris, France, Germany and Switzerland as a successful television, film, print and runway model.

Tyson Swanson

Tyson Swanson is a native South Carolinian that has traveled the South East performing at school campuses, open mics, poetry slams, conferences and being featured in spoken word poetry shows.  As a Lexus Verses and Flow Alumni Tyson has used his platform, whether performing on T.V. or small venues
to share gift and his testimony with the world. He recently released a CD "Spoken For." He is married to
Jennifer and they have 2 children.

La'Kai Whatley

La’kai Whatley is from Rome, GA. He recently graduated in May of 2018 with a degree in Marketing and Sales from Georgia Southern University. He is a speaker, poet and a fully devout Christian about His Fathers business. After graduating La’kai married LaTastreia who also graduated in May but from
Kennesaw State University and they are learning to love each other more everyday all while falling in love with Jesus Christ.

With her passion for community organizing and inspiration, Monae created The Educated Socialite, a mentorship program for girls in Orangeburg, SC. Formerly, Miss Naturally Crowned
Columbia 2016, she is returning to the stage to compete for Miss Black South Carolina International in April 2019. Competing as Miss Black Midlands, her platform is focused
on combating the black superwoman syndrome and raising mental health awareness conversation in her community. Bispham is a 2013 graduate of Claflin University and will pursue
a Masters of Education in August 2019.

Ky'Arah Forman

Student Co-Host Ky’Arah Foreman is a Freshman at Wando High School and is active in the Wando AFROTC Drill Team.  She is a member of Greater Goodwill AME Church and sings with the Youth Choir. She is also a member of the Women Empowerment Inc., Charleston Chapter and Pure Girls Inc.  Her
hobbies are listening to music, singing, and dancing.  Her favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13  “I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me.”

Student Co-Host Taylor Goff is an 8th grader at Jerry Zucker Middle School where she is a cheerleader and assists with special needs children. In her spear time, she loves practicing dance routines as well as choreographing.She wants to be a veterinarian and make-up artist. She believes that all girls can be
anything they want to be once they put their mind to it.

Lady Joi is a former radio personality for WWWZ/Z93 Jamz (Known as Stormy), WMGL/Magic 107.3 fm and WJNI 106.3Fm. She owns her own radio network called iCandiee Communications and Vision TV. Lady Joi works as a correspondent for National Recording Gospel Artist & Producer Deitrick Haddon’s DTv a web based internet station providing information on what’s hot and upcoming in the Low Country and the State of South Carolina.

La'Royalty Jones

Student Co-Host-La’Royalty Jones is a junior at Palmetto Scholars Academy. She is a member of the National Honors Society, Rotary Club, House Council and Girls Varsity basketball team. La’Royalty has a passion for basketball and is currently ranked number one in the state of South Carolina in points and
hope to play collegiate basketball. She is a member of Bethany Baptist church where she sings on the youth choir and is an active junior usher. She is also a member of Youth Empowerment Services, Inc.(Y.E.S.) Peer Leadership Team.

Addie Ledbetter

Addie Ledbetter a graduate of Converse College, was crowned Miss Columbia Northeast in March of 2018, and she is a former Miss Summerville. Addie is currently pursuing a degree in Nursing from Trident Technical College. Her career goal is to become a nurse anesthetist. Her pageant talent is playing the
piano and her platform is Empowerment Through T.E.A.S. (Together Everyone Achieves Success) which is an effort to instill leadership skills in young girls through the goal setting and personal reflection activities.
